We will freeze tuition fees. We will freeze tuition fees for undergraduate and college students at 2014 levels.
If you’re a university student, you will save an average of $400 a year.
If you’re a college student, you will save an average of $154 a year.

Student loan interest

As part of Andrea’s Plan that Makes Sense, we will eliminate interest on the provincial component of student loans.

If you make your home more energy efficient, you can save $300.

Caring for an elderly parent

As part of Andrea’s Plan that Makes Sense, we will introduce a fully refundable tax credit for those serving as caregivers for their friends, family, and neighbours.
If you are a caregiver to one person, you can save $1,275 a year.
If you are a caregiver to two people, you can save $2,550 a year.
If you are a caregiver to three people, you can save $3,825 a year.
